Sport Badia was born – now more than 20 years ago – almost as a joke after an aperitif with friends on the way back from a trek to the summit of Sassongher, the symbolic mountain of Corvara - in Alta Badia.

The ingredients at the base of this new adventure are few, but all essential: a great passion for sport , careful attention to detail , a predilection for companies attentive to the theme of sustainability and an unconditional love for the Dolomites , mountains with an ancient charm and extraordinary beauty.

After the first few years of business, focused on the sale of clothing for alpine skiing and summer trekking , in 2009 the ski rental service was added, which today continues to be available online during the winter months.

For about 5 years, in addition to the vast assortment of technical clothing for skiing - for the outdoors and for trekking - Sport Badia has offered some fashion brands such as Varley and Hinnominate .

At Sport Badia there are both historic and internationally known brands, as well as lesser-known companies that make high quality and typicality their flagship.

Since 2002, in addition to the main store on the main street of Corvara, there has also been an outlet store which from winter 2025 will be transformed into a store entirely dedicated to the Icepeak brand.
